I’m incredibly grateful for Honor Pet’s pet grief support group. Amy Abadia, who moderated the Wednesday sessions, created a space where we truly felt heard, seen, safe, and valued. Losing a pet is losing family—and this group deeply understands that our pets are not “just animals,” but our children and an irreplaceable part of our lives.

Amy does a wonderful job guiding conversations with compassion and care, while also giving everyone the space to share, grieve, and honor their beloved pets in their own way. The support from both Amy and the group has meant so much during such a difficult time. I’m thankful to have found a community that holds space for this kind of love and loss.

The Honor Pet Team will forever have a place in my heart. They are beyond compassionate, kind, helpful and there with and for you every step of the way. They provide seamless compassionate care that is so needed when you experience a loss of your pet family member. They are extremely responsive and accountable and provide this level of service in a way that feels warm and supportive.

The products and care with which everything is provided is stellar. The support whether through initial contact and follow ups, groups or one to one care is so helpful, supportive, and needed. They made a powerful and positive difference during one of the most difficult times of my life.

They truly understand what the loss of a pet family member means and provide the absolute best care, services, and products. I give them the highest recommendation of any business I have worked with in years.

We recently lost our beloved cat, Bender, and turned to Honor Pet for his aftercare. We are utterly impressed and comforted by their service. We chose their water cremation (aquamation) because it is an eco-friendly process, and the care they took was evident in every detail. They provided us with a certificate, a beautiful hand and nose print, and even seeds to plant in his honor. Their thoughtfulness made a world of difference during a very painful time. We cannot recommend them highly enough for any pet owner facing a loss

This experience during one of the most difficult times in life, was nothing short of comforting. Honor Pet lives up to their name. When I received my sweet bird's remains, the presentation was beyond my expectations. The love, care, and thoughtful consideration that was put into my little angel was exceptional. I highly recommend using this company.

Truly such a wonderful and caring company. They answered my tear-filled calls with compassion and kindness every time when asking questions. The presentation box is so beautifully done and all items were wonderfully crafted. It’s such a terrible thing to have to go through, but I appreciate all they did to help me navigate such a profound loss in my life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every urn in our shop is sized by your pet’s weight, and we’ll automatically guide you to the right fit when you select a piece. You don’t need to do the math yourself.

If your pet falls between sizes, we recommend going up. A little extra room is always better than not enough, and an urn that fits comfortably will look and feel right for years. If you’d like a second opinion or have a piece you love that you’re unsure about, our care team is here at (323) 515-1234 or care@honor.pet.
Yes. Many of our urns and memorial pieces can be personalized with your pet’s name, dates, or a short message. When personalization is available, you’ll see the option on the product page and a preview of how it will look before you check out.

If you don’t see engraving as an option on a piece you love, reach out — we can often accommodate special requests. Personalized items take a few additional days to prepare, and our team will keep you updated on timing.
These keepsakes are made by our team while your pet is in our care. Clay paw prints are pressed by hand using a soft, archival clay. Fur clippings are taken gently and sealed in a small glass vial. Nose prints are taken in ink.

Because these items can’t be made after cremation, we need to know your selections before we begin. If you’re not sure yet, that’s okay. Let us know, and we’ll wait until you’ve decided.
Standard pieces from our shop ship within a few business days. Personalized or engraved items take longer to prepare, usually one to three weeks depending on the piece.

For orders that include your pet’s ashes, we ship via USPS Priority Express with tracking and signature confirmation, and our team will email you the tracking number as soon as your package is on its way. Local hand delivery is available in the Los Angeles area for an additional fee — just ask when you order.

If you need a piece by a specific date, such as a memorial gathering, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
With both, your pet is cremated alone, and the ashes returned to you are entirely theirs. The difference is in how each is arranged.

With individual cremation, your pet is placed in their own enclosed chamber and is the only pet in that chamber for the entire process. Other pets are cremated at the same time in adjacent, fully separated chambers within the same machine.

With fully private cremation, your pet is the only pet in the entire machine, with no other pets in adjacent chambers. You can also request a specific time. Families who wish to be close by in our Comfort Center at the start of the cremation are welcome to do so.

Fully private cremation is available as an upgrade at the time of scheduling. To learn more or arrange one, please reach out to our care team.
A memorial viewing is private time with your pet at our Comfort Center before cremation. It’s time to say one more goodbye, in your own way.

Your pet is respectfully placed in a bed with soft blankets, prepared for the viewing. Viewings last one hour and include:
- A private comfort room with dimmed lighting and soft couches
- Stationery for letters or notes
- A flower station to create a memorial bouquet
- Champagne or sparkling water, if you’d like to raise a toast
- Space for family members and other pets
You’re welcome to bring photos or other mementos. Our team will be nearby if you need us, and will otherwise give you privacy.

To schedule a memorial viewing, reach us at (323) 515-1234 or careteam@honor.pet.
